Cuba is only 90 miles from the US border.  Not only is it now easier to communicate between countries, it's also possible to roam across most of Cuba and make cellular calls, including back to the US. We monitor the information about the capabilities related to wireless calls To, From and Within Cuba.  Our information comes from various sources including travelers who share their Cuba experiences as well as material from the wireless carriers themselves.  You can make wireless calls in Cuba and if you find it can't be done with your current cellular carrier, we show you how to make and receive those calls using your own phone, or a different phone. 

NOTE: There are political pressures within the current US administration that could cause relations between the US and Cuba to change at any minute.  If you're considering a trip to Cuba, or if it's on your Bucket List, you may want to schedule it soon.  Currently cruise ships can no longer take passengers from the US to Cuba. There could be other changes coming to limit travel access to Cuba and so can the telecommunications abilities, including calls to, from, and within the country.  For now, although it may be expensive, wireless roaming in Cuba is operating normally.
